The California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT)
2019 Outstanding School Award
The California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists annually recognizes an agency or school program that is creative and innovative in addressing mental health issues. CAMFT was impressed with not only the confidential counseling services provided primarily by trained DBHS student wellness consultants, but also the variety of wellness events and educational outreaches that are created to promote a campus culture that values overall health and well-being. To date, DBHS Wellness Center is the first school program to earn this honor. Dr. Reuben Jones, Mrs. Sandy Davis, and Mr. & Mrs. Doshi attended the awards ceremony in San Francisco on April 27, 2019.
